Preschool Director

Erin

aranza

Born on a military base in Kansas, Erin Nicole Aranza never imagined she’d find her calling in early childhood education. Her path was far from traditional, but every step of her journey led her closer to discovering the purpose God had prepared for her.

Erin began her adult life with dreams of entrepreneurship, enrolling in community college in Victoria, Texas, with the goal of earning a degree in business management and opening her own restaurant. Fueled by passion, she moved to San Antonio to pursue culinary school, eager to learn the ins and outs of the food industry. But life outside of home proved to be a challenge. Balancing school and two jobs just to pay for a small studio apartment left little room for joy or rest. Realizing she needed stability, Erin pivoted to full-time work in the automotive industry, eventually accepting a position in Houston.

Then, in 2020, the world changed. When the pandemic hit, Erin was furloughed and forced to find new footing once again. She found work at a Chevy dealership—an unexpected turn that would become a pivotal blessing. It was there that she met her husband, Robert. Their connection was immediate and powerful. After marrying in October 2021, Erin and Rob soon discovered they were expecting their first child. With that exciting news, Erin stepped away from the car business, intending to be a stay-at-home mom. But after just one week at home, she felt stir-crazy and sought a way to stay productive and fulfilled.

That’s when Erin found a teaching position at Little Arrows Christian School. From the moment she stepped into the classroom, something clicked. Teaching wasn't part of her original plan, but it quickly became her passion. The love she developed for shaping young minds and hearts—especially within a Christian environment—was undeniable.

Her journey as a teacher was temporarily paused when her son, Roen, was born three months early. Erin spent months at his side in the NICU, praying and fighting alongside her little miracle. Just one month after bringing Roen home, Erin and Robert learned they were expecting again. Their daughter, Kalani, was born just six days after Roen’s first birthday, doubling the joy and blessings in their lives.

Having children of her own deepened Erin’s passion for early childhood education. Her role as a mother transformed her approach to teaching, giving her a greater sense of empathy, purpose, and commitment to showing children the love of Jesus. She now serves as the Preschool Director at Little Arrows Christian School, where she continues to pour her heart into every classroom, every child, and every prayer.

Erin holds a Texas Childcare Director Credential from Texas A&M and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Her journey—from aspiring chef to automotive professional to educator—stands as a testimony to God’s plan, grace, and perfect timing.

Through all of life’s twists and trials, Erin gives credit to her faith. She believes deeply that her health, her children’s health, her marriage, and her life’s purpose are blessings from the Lord. Her mission is clear: to serve God by nurturing the hearts and minds of His youngest children, and to encourage them to walk in His love every step of the way.
