Courtney Briley-Mikulencak, AKA "Ms. Courtney", is currently a mom of a preschooler herself! With her sweet little boy in tow, Courtney has the mother-ease that only comes from experience. She will be able to relate so well to our Little Arrows mommies and families this year! Courtney is married to Justin Mikulencak, the Preacher for First United Methodist Church here in East Bernard. They have lived in our area since January of 2020 and have absolutely fallen in love with our small town! Along with their young son, they also have a very big dog named Piper and a very shy cat named Clara.

 

Courtney and Justin are currently on the exciting journey of becoming foster parents! They are following God's lead in one of the greatest commandments of loving our neighbors by looking out for the orphaned. What a blessing they will be to the young children God places in their home!

Courtney has a degree in Mass Communications from Texas Wesleyan University, which she used as a sales specialist and account executive for over seven years. During that time she also did some volunteer work as a Childcare Assistant, where she found her passion for working with young children. She is so excited to start this new chapter of life!

When Courtney is not working or volunteering, she loves reading, crafting, and traveling. She especially enjoys activities in the great outdoors, including swimming, hiking, walking, and working in her flowerbeds! At the top of her bucket list are adventures to Greece, Croatia, The Grand Caymans, and Yellowstone! She also has a goals of skydiving and learning to play an instrument one day!
